A system engineer building systems intended to outlive their creators.
Originally from Michigan, I now live in Taipei. Life has been full of pivots and more are on the horizon. Right now I am exploring
what I want to build next and who I will work alongside.
I have experience in a few industries, multiple languages, and many tools, but I truly light up when I am thrown into the fire and have to learn new skills on the fly. The past seven years have been defined by exploring new industries and seeing how far I could stretch my skillset.
Work
Founding CTO at Kaiju Finance
2025 – 2026
First engineer at a seed stage fintech startup offering on-demand revolving credit for crypto card programs. Owned the architecture, the onchain implementation, the API, and the card-issuer integrations.
Lead technical decision maker for an open-source low volatility token ($20m peak TVL). Led team to build composable wrapper around protocol assets, brought code through audit, and handled external integrations.
Co-founded a lending protocol and owned its technical design and implementation: modular, isolated markets with terms tailored to each deal. Taught myself Solidity and onchain security while building this. Declined funding and stepped away after 6 months.
Core team of an open-source stablecoin protocol ($180m peak TVL). Started on offchain data pipelines to bring onchain events to user comms. Implemented Tractor, an onchain execution system that allowed for users to delegate sequences of actions on their custodied assets.
Platform engineer on the Spot API team, shipping SDK and API features end to end in Python and C++. Designed how third-party hardware and software extend the robot, and built the cloud hosting for the customer facing simulater.

Projects
Trading Bots
A series of profitable systems built to implement advanced trading strategies in DeFi protocols. Clients written in Python, contracts in Solidity. Protocols include Polymarket, Kalshi, Baseline, GMX, Ribbon and others, deployed across five EVM chains and Sui.
TypeScript backend and API that card providers built into their payment flow. On each swipe the provider called it in real time, and USDC was borrowed against the user's collateral and settled to the provider.
Onchain lending protocol in Solidity that let card partners spin up permissioned lending pools. Loans run as revolving credit with 30 days interest-free, and LPs earn a fixed yield upfront over a known duration.
An ERC-20 wrapper around non-fungible protocol deposits, in Solidity, built to make them composable with external DeFi protocols. Brought through a third-party audit and shipped to production on a live protocol.
Onchain delegation in Solidity: any user can permit others to run sequences of actions on their behalf, with dynamically sourced data and execution restrictions. Brought through a third-party audit and shipped to production on a live protocol.
A Python library that pulls Beanstalk data from chain state and events, with a pipeline that processes it and reports it publicly to users over text channels.
